Beds24 vs Lodgify: which one fits your property?
Beds24 and Lodgify both sync your calendars with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, and neither takes a commission on bookings. But they are built for different hosts. Here is how they compare on price, channels, website, payments, support and reviews, using the vendors’ own pages and Capterra in October 2026.
Who each one is for
Beds24 is a property management system (PMS) with its own channel manager and booking engine. It says hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, holiday homes, hostels, campgrounds and agencies use it in over 150 countries, and its multi-property functions cover “up to hundreds of properties” (Beds24 FAQ). It calls itself “a self-service system”: you set it up yourself.
Lodgify is an all-in-one platform for holiday rentals: channel manager, website builder, booking engine, guest messaging and payments. It says it is designed to help “all types of short-term rental businesses” grow, “whether you have one property or 30+” (Lodgify pricing).
In short: Lodgify bundles a website and guided set-up for holiday-rental hosts. Beds24 also serves hotels, B&Bs and hostels, has more OTA connections and is priced by room, but you configure it yourself.
Pricing as of October 2026
Neither takes a commission on bookings; the monthly fee is built differently.
- Beds24: pay as you go. No contract and no set-up fees: you top up a prepaid balance. The fee grows with your rooms or units, from €15.50 a month, plus €0.55 a month per channel link, one room type on one channel (Beds24 pricing). Extras include a booking page on your own subdomain (€19 a month) and personal onboarding (from €79).
- Lodgify: four plans per property. For one property, billed monthly: Basic €16, Starter €28, Professional €48, Ultimate €70 a month; yearly billing saves 20%. Basic is limited to one property and Starter to two. Prices exclude taxes.
Two examples, with Beds24’s calculator and Lodgify’s monthly prices:
- One holiday home on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, taking direct bookings: about €17.15 a month on Beds24; €28 on Lodgify Starter, its first plan with a website and booking engine.
- Five holiday homes on the same channels: about €34.15 on Beds24; €136 on Lodgify Professional (€109 billed yearly).
The bundles differ: Lodgify Starter includes a website builder and onboarding, while Beds24 includes its booking page and charges for onboarding. Every Beds24 cost line is in our Beds24 pricing guide.
Channel manager and OTA connections
Beds24 says its channel manager syncs with “over 60 booking channels”, including Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo and Expedia. You pay per link, so only for the channels you use.
Lodgify connects by API to Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com on every plan, and uses iCal for other sites such as Tripadvisor or Trivago. iCal only shares an availability calendar that other sites check at intervals; an API connection also syncs rates and bookings straight away.
If you sell only on those three sites, both cover you.
Website, booking engine and payments
Lodgify includes a website builder. From Starter, you get a no-code builder with templates, a booking engine, 32 languages and a free domain on yearly plans. Lodgify says its booking widget also works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Joomla and Drupal sites (Lodgify booking engine).
Beds24 relies on its booking page. The booking engine is included in the fee, and its booking page and widgets go on any website; if you have none, Beds24 suggests using the booking page as your website. Builders that connect to Beds24 are covered in Beds24 alternatives.
Payments. Beds24 charges no processing fee and works with Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net and other gateways; with Stripe, it can charge cards sent by OTAs automatically. Lodgify takes cards “through Stripe or other gateways” from Starter, with manual payment collection from Professional. Your provider’s fees apply either way.
Ease of use, support and reviews
Beds24 offers documentation, videos and webinars, plus personal help through a ticket system in English or German, the main languages of its control panel. Lodgify adds human help as you move up: onboarding from Starter, email on every plan, phone from Professional, live chat on Ultimate.
Capterra ratings as of October 2026 (Capterra comparison):
- Beds24: 4.7 out of 5 from 117 reviews. Ease of use 4.2, customer service 4.6, value for money 4.8.
- Lodgify: 4.5 out of 5 from 1,311 reviews. Ease of use 4.4, customer service 4.6, value for money 4.3.
Lodgify has about eleven times more reviews, but both point the same way: Lodgify scores higher for ease of use, Beds24 for value. More in our Beds24 reviews guide.

Verdict: Beds24 or Lodgify?
- Choose Lodgify if you run one or a few holiday rentals, want a website and booking engine in one subscription, and prefer onboarding and phone support to configuring things yourself.
- Choose Beds24 if you run a hotel, B&B, guest house or hostel with several room types, sell on many OTAs, or have enough properties for per-property plans to add up. Plan time for the set-up.
- Either works if you only list on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo: compare the total for your size, your need for a website and the help you want.

Keeping Beds24 with a better booking page
With Beds24, guests book on Beds24’s own booking page, which you can customize. If that page is what holds you back, you can keep Beds24 and replace only the page: our Beds24 booking engine reads prices and availability live from Beds24 and writes bookings back, so the channel manager closes the room everywhere. It costs CHF 29 a month up to 5 rooms or units and CHF 49 above, per property, excluding VAT, with no commission and a 30-day free trial. It is not a website builder: for a whole new site, Lodgify or a builder connected to Beds24 fits better.
Frequently asked questions
Is Beds24 cheaper than Lodgify?
Usually, on list price: in October 2026, one holiday home on three channels costs about €17 a month on Beds24 and €28 on Lodgify Starter, and the gap grows with size. Lodgify’s plans include more, such as a website builder and onboarding.
Do Beds24 or Lodgify take a commission on bookings?
No. Beds24 says it never charges commissions, and every Lodgify plan shows a 0% booking fee. OTAs and payment providers still charge their own fees.
Does Beds24 have a website builder like Lodgify?
Not in the same way. Beds24 gives you a customizable booking page and widgets for your site, and suggests using the booking page as your website if you have none.
Which is better for a hotel or B&B?
Beds24 lists hotels, B&Bs and hostels among its users and prices by room. Lodgify presents itself as software for short-term rental businesses: if you sell rooms rather than whole rentals, ask Lodgify how they would be counted.
Can I try both for free?
Yes. Beds24 offers a 14-day trial and Lodgify a 7-day trial, both without a credit card.
