Beds24 vs Cloudbeds: which one fits your property?
Beds24 and Cloudbeds both combine a property management system (PMS), a channel manager and a commission-free booking engine. They differ in how you buy and run them: Beds24 publishes pay-as-you-go prices and expects you to set it up yourself, while Cloudbeds sells plans on quote, with 24/7 support and paid add-ons. Here is how they compare, from the vendors’ own pages in October 2026.
Who each one is for
Beds24 is a PMS with its own channel manager and booking engine. It says property managers “in over 150 countries” use it for hotels, B&Bs, inns, guest houses, holiday homes, hostels, campgrounds, agencies and hotel groups (Beds24 pricing). You pay only for the rooms and options you use, and you set it up yourself, helped by self-onboarding tools, webinars and ticket support.
Cloudbeds describes itself as a platform for hospitality businesses “of every size”, from enterprise portfolios to “small hotel chains, independent hotels, B&Bs, motels, guesthouses, and more”, and says more than 20,000 properties in 150+ countries use it (Cloudbeds). Beyond PMS, channel manager and booking engine, it sells guest messaging and digital check-in, revenue management, marketing, websites and its own payment processing.
In short: Beds24 is the low-cost, do-it-yourself option with public prices. Cloudbeds is a broader platform with 24/7 support, priced on quote.
Pricing as of October 2026
Neither charges a commission on bookings. The difference: only Beds24 shows you a price.
- Beds24: public, pay as you go. “No contract, no minimum term, no set-up fees” (Beds24 pricing). Its calculator adds a €12.90 base fee, €2.60 a month per room and €0.55 per channel link, one room type on one channel, so it starts from €15.50 a month. Extras include Private Label for your own subdomain (€19 a month) and personal onboarding (from €79). You pay from a prepaid balance.
- Cloudbeds: on quote. Its pricing page shows four plans, each with “Request a quote” (Cloudbeds pricing): Flex (PMS, payments and a marketplace of 400+ integrations), One (adds the channel manager and booking engine), Experience (adds guest experience and reputation management) and Enterprise (custom packages). Revenue management, guest marketing CRM, digital marketing, websites and reputation management are add-ons.
For scale, our Beds24 pricing guide works out about €29.20 a month for a 5-room B&B with 3 room types on 2 channels, and about €71.50 for a 20-room hotel with 4 room types on 3 channels, before VAT. For a fair comparison, ask Cloudbeds for a written quote for the One plan, the first with a channel manager and booking engine, for the same property, and ask what onboarding and payment processing will cost on top.
Channel manager and OTA connections
Beds24 has “two-way XML connections with Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO group, Agoda, Hostelworld and many more leading OTAs”, which export prices and inventory and import bookings (Beds24 channel manager). At €0.55 a month per link, you pay only for the channels you actually use.
Cloudbeds says its channel manager connects “directly to 450+ global, regional, and niche OTAs”, including Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo and Expedia, with “ZERO added commissions” (Cloudbeds channel manager). It is part of the One plan and above; Flex leaves it out.
Both cover the big OTAs. If you depend on a regional or niche site, check that it is on the vendor’s list before you sign, and on Beds24, count your links: one per room type and channel.
Booking engine, website and payments
Booking engine. Both are commission-free. Beds24’s is included in its fee: a “fully responsive” booking page in over 30 languages, with your own layout and custom CSS, that you can embed in your website or “use the booking page as your booking website” (Beds24). Cloudbeds’ booking engine, part of the One plan and above, offers a “two-step booking process”, several languages and currencies, upsells, promo codes and links to specific rates (Cloudbeds booking engine).
Website. Neither builds you a full website in the base price. Cloudbeds sells websites as an add-on, built on hotel templates with a custom domain and, it says, an average of 31 days to launch (Cloudbeds websites). Beds24 relies on partner builders such as Webready or RezIntel: compare them in our Beds24 website builder guide.
Payments. Beds24 charges no processing fee: “You only pay a fee to your payment provider”, such as Stripe, PayPal or Authorize.Net, and it can automatically charge the virtual cards OTAs send (Beds24 payments). Cloudbeds runs its own processor, Cloudbeds Payments, priced either as “blended rates” or as “cost-plus”. Its page publishes no rates and notes that features and pricing vary by property location (Cloudbeds Payments).
Ease of use, support and reviews
Support. Beds24 includes a ticket system, a forum, self-onboarding tools and regular webinars; personal onboarding costs from €79. Cloudbeds includes “24/7 customer support”, sells Premium Support with faster response times and phone support, and runs onboarding either self-serve or with an onboarding coach (Cloudbeds pricing).
Reviews. On Capterra, Beds24 is rated 4.7 out of 5 from 117 reviews as of October 2026, with value for money its best-rated category (Capterra comparison). On the same comparison page, Cloudbeds has more reviews and a lower overall score: it rates slightly higher for ease of use, and Beds24 higher for value for money and customer support. Ratings move, so check the page before you decide.
That matches each product’s model: Beds24 trades set-up effort for a lower bill, while Cloudbeds charges for a more guided experience.

- Either works if you sell mainly on Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia: then compare Cloudbeds’ written quote with Beds24’s calculator, plus the help you will need.

Keeping Beds24 with a better booking page
If what draws you to Cloudbeds is its booking engine rather than its back office, you may not need to switch PMS at all. Switching means re-mapping every OTA connection, moving future bookings and re-entering your rates: our guide to Beds24 alternatives has the full checklist.
Bookpage24 is a Beds24 booking engine that replaces only the page guests book on. It reads prices and availability live from Beds24 on every search, shows real room names, photos and several rates per room, adds the city tax upfront, and writes each booking into Beds24, whose channel manager closes the room everywhere. Guests pay on the Beds24 payment page, with your own Stripe or PayPal.
It costs $29 a month up to 5 rooms or units, $49 up to 20 and $79 above, per property, excluding VAT, with no commission: see pricing. Like Beds24’s own page, it is a commission-free booking engine. See the live demo with a real hotel’s prices.
Frequently asked questions
Is Beds24 cheaper than Cloudbeds?
Beds24 is the only one of the two with public prices: from €15.50 a month in October 2026, or about €29 for a 5-room B&B on two channels by our estimate. Cloudbeds prices on quote, so compare its written quote with Beds24’s calculator for the same rooms.
Does Cloudbeds charge a commission on direct bookings?
No. Cloudbeds says it adds no commission on reservations made through its booking engine or channel manager. Payment processing through Cloudbeds Payments is charged separately, and OTAs keep their own commissions.
Which is better for a small hotel or B&B?
Both say they serve B&Bs and independent hotels. Beds24 costs less on published prices and suits owners who set things up themselves; Cloudbeds adds 24/7 support and more built-in tools, at a price you get on quote.
Does Beds24 have a booking engine like Cloudbeds?
Yes. It is included in the Beds24 fee, commission-free, responsive and available in over 30 languages, and you can embed it in your website or use it as your booking website. For a branded page on top of Beds24, there is Bookpage24.
Do Beds24 and Cloudbeds offer free trials?
Beds24 offers a 14-day trial without a credit card. Cloudbeds offers a free 30-minute demo and asks you to request a quote; its pricing page did not mention any trial in October 2026.
